10 Incredible Houses You Wished You Lived In

The Snail Shell House, Mexico City, Mexico

Lovers of the original Doctor Doolittle film, rise up! There is a house in Mexico that has more than a passing resemblance to the great snail that appears at the end of the film to ferry the characters back home to England, and it is beautiful. The architect, Javier Sensonian, considers himself to be a ‘bio-architect’, which means that he takes the majority of his inspiration from the natural world. This house is actually called the Nautilus, and was finished in 2006. It is not exactly clear what the interior of this house is like, but we bet it is fabulous.
